    Lorie Casey

    Criminal Defense Attorney

Lorie Casey got into criminal law to help people.

“I wanted to be able to help people during tough situations in their lives. Certainly, I am able to relate to those individuals who have found themselves in situations that have resulted in criminal charges,” she said.

Mrs. Casey has settled and litigated complex criminal cases. She has successfully litigated cases as simple as speeding tickets and as complex as murder cases.

Mrs. Casey said those experiences allow her to inform her clients of the best possible options and do what is right for them in each case.

“It is important to have an attorney that can understand and be supportive of you throughout the process while doing what is necessary to protect your rights and interests through a jury trial if necessary or a negotiated settlement,” Mrs. Casey said.

Mrs. Casey obtained her undergraduate degree in Political Science at Kentucky Wesleyan College in 1993.

She graduated from the University of Louisville School of Law in 1996 and was admitted to the Kentucky Bar Association on May 1, 1997.

Mrs. Casey is married to her husband of 9 years, Matthew, and they reside with their boys in Jefferson County. Mrs. Casey is the mother of three sons Corey (daughter-n-law Amy), Trey and Bailey, and step-mother to Lane and Landon.

Mrs. Casey opened her own office in 2011. She has successfully practiced law primarily in Bullitt County for the last 25 years. Mrs. Casey maintains caseloads in Spencer and Nelson counties as well.
